HISTORY OF RIVER CITIES
The River Cities All-Star program was established in Ashland, KY in 1994. This program was developed to give athletes on non-competitive teams the opportunity to compete on a national level. The program was moved to Hurricane, WV in 1997 due to the number of athletes in the area that could benefit from such a program.
Over the last 18 years, the River Cities All-Stars have brought over 25 national cheerleading titles back to WV. Aside from a winning tradition like no other in this area, the relationships, values, and ethics that have been taken from the program are truly what we are most proud of. While placing over 30 athletes in competitive college programs, we take pride in giving our participants opportunities that no other program can provide.
We at River Cities would love to invite you to come be a part of our Family. We hope the skills and athleticism your child may learn will only compare to the friendships and values that they will take with them throughout their lives.
